The cost was incredibly low and made it worth while saving an old laptop [we donated the machine to one of our employees many years ago and she was reluctant to give-up the Thinkpad].
We have the Thinkpad now running Windows 2000 serving duty as a weather-data monitoring station.

A friend found you online and passed the info on to me. I was leary at first about sending my laptop to a total stranger.
